On June 19, 2025, we carried out an extensive assignment on board a Stena Line ship in Halmstad. During an intensive working day of less than 10 hours, we delivered and assembled as many as 25 custom-made seat cushions, directly on site. This is just one of many examples of how we at Marstrands Marintextil work with efficient, high-quality textile solutions for demanding marine environments.
Our partnership with Stena Line is more than just seat cushions - we contribute to the design, upholstery and new production of chairs, back cushions and other textile furnishings for ships' common areas. Marstrands Marintextil has had the honor of working with Västtrafik to improve the comfort and durability of driver and passenger seats in public transport vehicles. We are responsible for both manufacturing, upholstery and installation of customized cushions - directly on site.
Our assignment mainly involves express buses of the MAN model, where we work with lines X1, X2, X3 and X4, among others. We focus on delivering ergonomic and durable cushions that can withstand daily use and wear, while offering high comfort for both drivers and passengers.
