RecSystem RS-177 Burgundy is a high quality canopy fabric from Recasens, made of 100 % spun-dyed acrylic with PU coating for long durability and dimensional stability.
The deep, burgundy tone of Burgundy is a popular choice for both classic and modern boats - especially in yards like Hallberg-Rassy and Nimbus.

This weave combines aesthetics, weather resistance and functionality. It is fully water repellent, resists rot, mold, bacteria and insect attack, and retains its color even with prolonged sun and UV exposure.

The fabric is often used by well-known boatyards such as Hallberg-Rassy and Nimbus as original fabric in their canopies. Perfect for:
Boat chapel, Sprayhood, Bimini canopy, Flybridge canopy, Harbor canopy, Cockpit canopy, Stern canopy, Boom canopy and Lazy bag.

The fabric is treated against rot, mold, bacteria and insect infestation. Its UV resistance allows it to retain its bright white color even with prolonged exposure to sun, salt and moisture. With a water column of at least 1000 mm, it has significantly higher water resistance than standard fabrics, while remaining breathable and reducing the risk of condensation.
